Детские стишки B - C

                                                                                                       B

Baa, Baa, Black Sheep

Baa, baa, black sheep,

Have you any wool?

Yes, sir, yes, sir,

Three bags full;

One for the master,

And one for the dame,

And one for the little boy

Who lives down the lane.

Blew is the sea.

Blew is the sea.

Green is the grass.

White are the clouds as they slowly pass.

Black are the crows.

Brown are the trees.

Red are the sails of a ship in the breeze.

Buy Any Buttons?

Buttons, a farthing a pair.

Come, who will buy them of me?

They are round and sound and pretty

And fit for the girls of the city

Come, who will buy them of me?

Buttons, a farthing a pair.

A Song from a Game

Blind man, blind /слепой/ man,

Sure you can't see?

Turn round three times,

And try to catch me.

Turn east, turn west,

Catch as you can,

Did you think you'd caught me?

Blind, blind man!

Bow-wow, says the dog,

Mew, mew, says the cat,

Grant, grunt, goes the hog /

And squeak goes the rat.

Tu-whu, says the owl,

Caw, caw. savs the crow /

Quack, quack, says the duck,

And what cuckoos say you know.

Barnaby Bright he was a sharp cur /
He always would bark if a mouse did but stir /
But now he's grown old, and can no longer bark,
He's condemned /приговорён/by the parson /приходский священник/to be hanged by the clerk /церковнослужитель/.

Bye, baby bumpkin /
Where's Tony Lumpkin?
My lady's on her death-bed,
With eating half a pumpkin.

Buzz /бзз/, quoth /я (он, она) сказал(а)/ the blue fly,
Hum /ж-ж-ж/, quoth the bee,
Buzz and hum they cry,
And so do we.

Bat, bat, come under my hat,
And I'll give you a slice of bacon;
And when I bake,
I'll give you a cake,
If I am not mistaken.

Boys and girls come out to play

Boys and girls come out to play,
The moon doth /
/ shine as bright as day,
Leave your supper,
and leave your sleep,
And come with your playfellows into the street.
Come with a whoop, come with a call,
Come with a good will, or not at all.
Up the ladder and down the wall,
A halfpenny loaf will serve us all.
You find milk, and I'll find flour,
And we'll have pudding within the hour.

                                                       С

Cock, cock, cock, cock,
I've laid an egg,
Am I to go ba-are /(= bare) голый, обнаженный/ foot?
Hen, hen, hen, hen,
I've been up and down,
To every shop in town,
And cannot find a shoe
To fit your foot,
If I'd crow my hea-art out.

Cobbler, cobbler, mend my shoe.
Yes, good master, that I'll do;
Here's my awl and wax and thread,
And now your shoe is quite mended.

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat
Please to put a penny in the old man's hat;
If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny /= a half penny/will do,
If you haven't got a ha'penny then God bless /благословлят/ you!

"Coo," /звук, который издает воркующий голубь/  said the turtledove /дикий голубь/,
"Coo," said she;
In the long, shady branches
Of the dark pine tree.

Mrs. Hen

Chook, chook, chook, chook, chook;

Good morning, Mrs. Hen.

How many chickens have you got?

Madam, I've got ten.

Four of them are yellow,

And four of them are brown.

And two of them are speckled red.

The nicest in die town.

Come, butter, come,

Come, butter, come;

Peter stands at the gate

Waiting for a butter cake.

Come, butter, come.

To the Cuckoo

Cuckoo, cuckoo, what do you do?

In April I open my bill /клюв/;

In May I sing all day;

In June 1 change my tune;

In July away I fly;

In August away I must.

Cut thistles /чертополох/ in May,

They grow in a day;

Cut them in June,

That is too soon;

Cut them in July,

Then they will die.
